As most regular readers will know, I have been reducing my collection of late. Over the past six months some 8 watches have passed into new hands via Kibble Watches in London. This is good news of course, however, there are some five left on the site which I now note briefly below. Further on, I also note another four cherished watches that are potentially for sale, but are not on the Kibble site. Interested parties may contact me direct if they require further information, however, any ultimate sale will be via Kibble so buyers will be afforded the usual benefits – expertise/quality/safety/security etc. It is just that I cannot bear to send them down yet!!

Patek Perpetual Calendar (ref 5039J/001) from 1997. 18ct yellow gold on a brown Patek strap with conventional buckle. It has a new box and stylus, along with a spare new black Patek strap. It has original papers and various Patek service papers – the last in the UK in 2018, with a re-check in 2019. So, super condition. Few are for sale, but the average price on the internet is some £35k. By the way, the Patek boutique in London had the same model – but in white gold (new old stock) in their window a few years ago for some £80k! The price for my watch is only £31,495, so I feel a very good deal.

Chopard LUC GMT One (ref161943-5001) 42mm. 2021. Rose gold. Brown dial. Brown strap. I bought new from a national UK jeweller. The rrp was some £18k – but it was in a sale so I did not pay quite that. So, full accompaniments and in pristine condition. Virtually unworn. A huge amount of quality and gold at only £12,995

Breitling Transocean 1915 Monopusher Chronograph (ref AB1411). 43.5mm – but wears smaller! 2017. S/S. “Milanese” type bracelet. This was bought new by me from a national UK jeweller in 2017 and is in vgc. Ltd Edition. Price:£3,650.

Yema Rallye “Andretti” chronograph 38.5mm. circa 1969 (ref 93012). S/S. Manual wind Valjoux 7734 movement. In good condition for age – save few a few small marks on the bezel. Price: £1,750.

Omega Constellation C case (ref 168.5455/6) 34mm (but longer of course).1969. 18ct yellow gold on a super super heavy bracelet. It has it’s box, plus 2023 Omega service papers. This watch is frankly a huge classic item, and in exceptional condition. I am in fact only selling it as I have a Constellation “pie-pan dial” in equally good condition, but which I slightly prefer. Price £6,495

These are the other watches not on the Kibble site. I may add to these in the future.

Vacheron Constantin Turn-O-Graph (ref 6782). 36mm. 1963. In 18ct yellow gold, silver dial, on a alligator strap with VC buckle. Original box and Extract from Archive certificate. Believed only around 100 made. Recent service by a quality UK watchmaker. Price £14k

Cartier Tortue 8 Day CPCP (Collection Prive Cartier Paris). (ref 2761). 2005. 18ct white gold. Hand wound. Silver dial. Black alligator strap with folding clasp. Box/papers. Bought from 90 Mount St, London (Richard Mille’s pre-owned boutique – taken in as a p/ex). Made from 1998 to 2008 this CPCP range was exclusive and a Ltd Edition. Super condition. Little worn.  Price £18k

Lange & Sohne Saxonia Outsized Date. (ref BP-003) 2018. 38.5mm. 18ct rose gold. Black dial. Black strap. Box/papers. Ltd Edition. Excellent condition. Bought from same Mille source as the Cartier. Price £22k  (last rrp a few years ago some £26k)

Czapek Faubourg de Cracovie “L’Heure Blue”. (ref 3/18) 41.5mm. 2018. Chronograph chronometer. S/S. Blue engraved dial. Blue alligator strap, and spare rubber strap. This watch is special being one of only 18 made. This watch is super special at it was specifically ordered by me from the CEO Xavier De Roquemaurel – including an all-red second hand, making it a one-off! All accompaniments are present, including; box, brochure, ID passport, and COSC report. But also uniquely, I am including items from a press trip I went on to Switzerland in 2019, including; itinerary, brochures, other literature and items from component partners visited, i.e. movement maker Vaucher Fleurier (tech drawings on movement – unique to Czapek), case maker AB Concept (bronze test case), dial engraver Metalem (sample engraved bronze dial), hand maker Waeber HMS, and strap maker Atelier du Bracelet. This watch has always received great reviews from the watch press, as one of the best chronographs made in recent times – with a superb movement and finishing. Comparable new watches retail today for around £37k. Price for this unrepeatable item in pristine condition – £32k
